Returns & Right of Withdrawal

We want your online purchase to be simple and worry‑free. Below is a clear summary of your rights, followed by the detailed legal text.

At a glance How to return Exceptions Why no “free returns” & 100% on lenses? Refunds Detailed legal text

A At a glance

Withdrawal: 14 days by law → 30 days with Visionet

By law, you have 14 days to withdraw. With Visionet, you get 30 days to return the item for a refund (unused, complete, in original packaging).

Fast refunds

We usually process refunds within 2–3 business days after your return is delivered (legal maximum: 14 days).

Exceptions in short

For a frame with prescription lenses, we refund 100% of the frame and 50% of the lenses (made to your specifications and not resellable).

Return shipping cost

Return shipping is paid by the buyer. Please use a tracked service and keep the proof of shipment.

1 How to return an item

  1. Log in to your account, open “View my orders”, click “View” and then “Return this order”.
  2. If you can’t initiate the return online, the easiest way is to send us an email at service@visio-net.com and include your order number. You can also send a postal letter to the relevant return address above.
  3. Once your request is accepted, ship the item within 14 days to the return address corresponding to your shipping country (EU/International, USA or UK). Please use a tracked service and keep the proof of shipment.

Items must be unused, not worn, and complete (case, cloth, accessories, documentation) in their original packaging with tags intact — no marks or odors.

If the return is not validated (conditions not met), you may choose to have the product shipped back at your cost or made available for pickup at our facility.

2 Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

  • Made‑to‑measure or clearly personalized goods — e.g., prescription lenses, specific mounting. In such cases, Visionet may apply a partial refund reflecting the bespoke costs. Our policy for combined orders is 100% refund on the frame + 50% on the lenses.
  • Goods unsealed after delivery that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons (e.g., opened boxes of contact lenses).

3 Why no “free returns” & 100% on lenses?

  • About “free returns”: they are rarely free—most retailers build the cost into the selling price. We prefer lower prices for everyone and only charge for returns when a return actually happens, so customers who keep their purchase don’t subsidize other people’s returns.
  • About 100% refunds on lenses: prescription lenses are custom‑made and cannot be resold. Offering 100% typically means raising lens prices for all customers. Our approach: 100% on the frame + 50% on the lenses—a fair balance that keeps everyday prices low while protecting you if you return.

In short: we choose transparency and fair pricing for everyone.

4 Refunds

Following your withdrawal, we refund all payments received, including standard delivery costs. Extra costs for faster or special delivery options you chose are not refunded.

In practice, we process refunds within 2–3 business days after we receive your return (or after you provide proof of shipment). The legal maximum is 14 days. Refunds are issued using the same payment method unless agreed otherwise, at no additional charge.

Your responsibility may be engaged if the item is depreciated due to handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and proper functioning.

i Detailed legal text

1. Right of withdrawal (14 days)

You have the right to withdraw from this contract without giving any reason within fourteen (14) days. The withdrawal period expires fourteen days after the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquires physical possession of the last item of the order.

2. Extended return period to 30 days

In addition to your legal right of withdrawal, Visionet grants a 30‑day return period from the date of receipt for items that are unused, in their original condition and packaging. The item must reach us within 30 days from receiving the last item.

3. Return procedure

To exercise your right of withdrawal, log in to your account > View my orders > View the order > Return this order. If that’s not possible, please email us at service@visio-net.com with your order number, or send a postal letter to the appropriate return address (EU/International, USA, or UK). The returned item must be received within 14 days from when your return request is approved.

If the return is not validated, you may choose to have your purchase reshipped at your expense or made available at our facility. The withdrawal period is met if you send your communication regarding the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

4. Effects of withdrawal

In the event of withdrawal, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest. Reimbursement will be made using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than that necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

5. Exceptions to withdrawal
  • Supply of goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized (e.g., prescription lenses). In this context, Visionet may proceed with a partial refund (custom work). For combined orders we refund 100% of the frame and 50% of the lenses.
  • Supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery (e.g., opened boxes of contact lenses).
6. Refund time and method

Refunds are made within 14 days using the same payment method as the purchase, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
In practice: Visionet usually refunds within 2–3 business days after the return is delivered.

This summary is provided for convenience. In case of discrepancies, the detailed legal text above prevails.
